A GREAT first month for Tesfa 5x3! But now what?

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who bought Barefoot Books in June to support my Tesfa Foundation 5x3 Fundraiser!  In a few days I will be sending $112 to Tesfa to support School #3 and School #4 in Ethiopia. 

A FANTASTIC start to the fundraiser - but where do we go from here?

I would love to send even more money to Tesfa for July, but I need your help.  Have you ordered yet?  If you have ordered, have you also told all your friends and family about the fundraiser?  I KNOW there are more people out there who would love Barefoot Books and would love to help build schools in Ethiopia - we just have to get the word out to them.

Here are a few ways you can let people know about the fundraiser:

• Send them the link to my blog post about it here.

• Invite them to the Facebook event I created about the fundraiser.  It's a public event, so anyone can be invited and join; I post a lot there about individual books that I highly recommend, so that is a great way for people who might not know Barefoot Books yet to find out about how amazing the books are.

• If you know people who would be interested but are unlikely to place an order on-line, please contact me (Liz@ReadingBarefootinBoston.com) and I will send you a catalog, flyers, order forms in the mail.  You can write the order down on a form and send it back to me in the mail with a check or credit card number.  I'll even provide a stamped envelope for you to return the order to me. 

Feel free to post about the fundraiser on Facebook, on your own blog if you have one, on any email lists you might be on, or anywhere else you think there are people who love books, literacy, education, and Ethiopia.

I am extremely grateful that being a Barefoot Books Ambassador allows me to contribute to causes I care about but would not otherwise have the funds to support, and I am extremely grateful to all of you for helping me do that too.

Now let's all get out there and raise some money for schools in Ethiopia!
